Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), California residents can opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of their personal information. This page explains how Pelagio handles those rights.
What “sale” and “sharing” mean under California law
Under California law, “sale” and “sharing” can include disclosures to third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising, even when no money changes hands. The definitions are broader than the everyday meaning of selling data.
We do not sell or share for advertising
Pelagio does not sell personal information for money. We do not engage in cross-context behavioral advertising. Our product analytics (PostHog) are first-party, gated on your consent, and are not used to build advertising profiles. We do not load advertising pixels.
How to opt out
Choose “Reject All” or turn off the Analytics and Marketing categories in our cookie banner or in the Privacy choices panel accessible from the footer. Your choice is stored on your device in the pelagio-consent cookie.
Global Privacy Control
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends GPC, Pelagio treats it as a valid opt-out of any sale or sharing of personal information and keeps analytics and marketing categories off unless you later explicitly enable them.
Limit use of sensitive personal information
California residents can ask us to limit the use of sensitive personal information to the purposes specified by Cal. Civ. Code §1798.121. We already restrict such use to providing the Service and to security and fraud-prevention purposes permitted by law; you can confirm the limit in writing by emailing privacy@pelagioapp.com.
Authorized agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit an opt-out or other rights request on your behalf. Email privacy@pelagioapp.com from the agent’s address and attach written, signed authorization (for example, a power of attorney) confirming the agent’s authority. We may verify the request directly with you before acting.
No discrimination
Pelagio will not discriminate against you for exercising any rights under the CCPA/CPRA. We will not deny service, charge different prices, or provide a different level of quality based on your exercise of these rights.
